"Gulf Troubled Waters Community Forum"

Sunday 7th March 2010

Cove Sports & Community Club (Club Cove)

Oval Road Hallett Cove

"Gulf Troubled Waters" Forum provided the community a unique opportunity to understand a broad spectrum of environmental issues associated with Gulf St Vincent through the eyes of the Mid-South Coast. Never before has the Mid-South Coast had to contend with developments which have resulted in changes to its creeks and rivers. This has impacted on the production and movement of sand around the coast. At the end of 2010, in addition to stormwater and wastewater the marine ecology will have to deal with desalination discharge. The forum  discussed the consequences and what is being done and can still be done.
